The league office has suspended St. Louis's Al Ferrara and San Francisco's Leo Marentette for 8 games for fighting. The suspensions are scheduled to go into effect today. In 78 games this year Ferrara has posted a .310 average and put up these numbers: 19 home runs, 46 RBIs and 47 runs scored. Marentette has compiled an ERA of 4.10 so far this season, winning 0 games with no losses and no saves. In 22 relief appearances he has hurled 26.1 innings, yielded 23 hits and struck out 19.
