Sunday, August 17th, 1969: Nash Holds Expos Scoreless
In an almost effortless performance, Jim Nash of the Pilots shot down the Expos 6-0 on a 2-hit shutout.

His skipper said, "Jim was just locating so well and using his pitches... not leaving anything over the plate."

Nash recorded 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.

In the postgame press conference, the Montreal manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him."

Nash has gone 9-10 this season with an ERA of 4.11 and 134 strikeouts in 153.1 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .257 against him.
