Monday, September 29th, 1969: Great Week for Milwaukee's Ralph Garr
It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Ralph Garr, the Milwaukee Brewers 23-year-old left fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for National Player of the Week honors.

He ripped 16 hits in 32 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with no home runs and 2 RBIs.

Garr is hitting .325 in 1969 with 5 home runs, 43 RBIs and 82 runs scored. He has 162 hits in 499 at-bats and played in 110 games.
