ORB2 News Article | |  | Sunday, August 26th, 1962: 2B Nellie Fox Out Nellie Fox of the Chicago White Sox could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a fractured hand in a game against the Los Angeles Angels. He is expected to miss at least 2 weeks. The Chicago second baseman was injured colliding with a player at a base. Fox said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all."
This season Fox has hit at a .295 clip and produced 34 RBIs, 3 home runs and 62 runs scored. | |
