 | Tuesday, July 1st, 1969: Miami's Valentine ACL #1 Batter in June Even though he is a newcomer to Independence League, Bobby Valentine put up some good numbers in June and brought home the ACL Batter of the Month trophy. He was one of Miami's offensive leaders with a .424 average in 26 games. He also racked up 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Presently Valentine is batting .385 and has collected 2 home runs, 28 RBIs, .444 OBP and scored 49 runs. |
