 | Monday, July 7th, 1969: Moran Raps Spokane for 5 Hits The Tacoma Rainiers upended the Spokane Chiefs at Bank Street Grounds today in large part to shortstop Al Moran, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and help propel the Rainiers to a 11-3 victory. A. Moran doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th. This season Moran has hit at a .233 clip and produced 29 RBIs, 1 home run and 32 runs scored. |
