Sunday, June 2nd, 1968: Nelson Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games
And the streak goes on.

Dave Nelson collected another hit in the Bisons 9-8 win over the Chiefs. The Buffalo second baseman was 1-for-4 in the game. After the game, Diaz commented on his 25-game hitting streak, "I'm not doing too much, just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play."

His manager told BNN, "Dave makes it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup everyday."
D. Nelson singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.

Thus far this year Nelson is hitting .370 with 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
