 | Sunday, September 1st, 1968: Hardin August's Best Hurler in ACL Over the past month Jim Hardin has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Alexander Cartwright League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Albuquerque Dukes posted 6-1 mark and a 2.44 ERA. In 10 starts he tossed 62.2 innings, permitted 44 hits and fanned 42 batters. In 1968 Hardin has logged 15 wins and 4 losses and struck out 184 batters in 221.2 innings while compiling a 2.35 ERA. |
