 | Friday, September 6th, 1968: Dukes Sweep Toronto in Round 1 The Albuquerque Dukes stunned the Toronto Maple Leafs by sweeping the Round 1 3-0. The Dukes dumped them 2-1 today at Autozone Park in the deciding game of the series. This was the 3rd time Albuquerque has been the league champions. During the regular season the powerful Dukes chalked up a 85-45 mark and finished in first place in the Alexander Cartwright League. |
